Few can achieve tremendous success and create significant artwork before the age of 10. For those that can, their early works are stunningly complex and historical significant.
Like Mozart, Pablo Picasso and Jean-Francois Champollion, our most acclaimed artists are often referred to as prodigies. Yung Lenox, Elisabeth Anisimow and Aelita Andre (13/Seattle, 13/Los Angeles, 12/Australia)have been recognized for their importance by Forbes Magazine, Time Magazine, 60 Minutes, Vine and The New York Times, all when under age 10. Each presents their largest shows ever, with the release of never before seen early works from Elisabeth, Lenox and newcomer Dyno. Koops (Isabella Koopman) and Brigette Roseman are preparing for their 2nd Basel’s, having both won the people’s choice award last year with incredibly socially relevant voices and modern, luxurious style that will continue to drive their popularity. Andrea Zorilla of Puerto Rico and siblings Jada and Elijah Mason (dad is NBA Legend and artist Desmond Mason, Adam Levine’s a collector) will present new work with the Mason’s also returning to Miami a year since WONDER 2018, the first edition of KidsBasel.
Ashley and Brian Sidman, founders of KidsBasel, will host a private Collector’s Opening and Afterparty on Tuesday, December 3 from 5:30pm to 11p with family style servings from Nobu, Tito’s Vodka, vintage art games, Tito’s Vodka and DJ DZA.
